Notes:
Technically this book is part of two series. Officially, it is the first book in the Six of Crows duology. However, it is also the fourth book in the wider ‘Grishaverse’ series of books, also by Bardugo, along with the Shadow and Bone trilogy, and the King of Scars duology.
Archivist Comments:
I’ve actually read this one and the second one. Personally, I enjoyed it. It’s a bunch of young criminals doing criminal things to survive (and profit). Also, magic! There’s a big magic system (which can be a bit confusing at times) and it’s very present in the wider plot of the book. But, the book gives you definitions for some of the magic terms in the beginning which I really liked. Technically the ADHD rep in this is only implied, and it’s ’caused’ by something else, but it’s there. I also completely forgot when I originally wrote this, but one of the MCs- the leader of the gang- has a severe touch aversion disorder, to the point he has a panic attack and passes out in a confined space because he’s touching too many people.
